There are no secrets in a small pond.
Program 2 – Performances:
Thursday, March 27 – 7:30 PM
Saturday, March 29 – 7:30 PM
Sunday, March 30 – 7:30 PM
Description: On their summer break from college, school-age friends Howard, Caroline, Jack, and Nancy make a detour during a night of partying. The scene is familiar, but each one has changed in their time away from their small town. None of them want to keep swimming the same circles, and the bottle provides the perfect excuse for bold action.
Playwright: Tomas Gustafson
Tomas is in the fifth and final year of his undergraduate degree in Creative Writing and Anthropology at UBC. He is originally from Victoria. Thanks to an enthusiastic high school English teacher he began writing in earnest and thanks to the encouragement of a TA he applied for the Creative Writing program at UBC. Writing and travelling are the two things he wants (and needs) to do after graduating.
Actors:
Jack – Nick Rinke
Caroline – Megan Verhey
Nancy – Michelle T. Baynton
Howard – Zach Wolfman
